DATASTREAMS, s.r.o. is a Czech company founded in 2018, operating as a system integrator and value add distributor in the field of data storage, protection and archiving. We design and build data infrastructure tailored to our customers' real needs — from high-performance primary storage through backup systems to long-term archives with guaranteed data readability. We build on-premise solutions at the customer site as well as sovereign cloud — environments with cloud convenience, but under the full control and jurisdiction of your organisation.
Our specialists have installed storage systems with a combined capacity exceeding 100 petabytes at customer sites — and we manage that data for them to this day. The team consists of experts with more than 20 years of experience in enterprise storage and data centres. Every project starts with a detailed analysis of your data profile and operational requirements. Only then do we design the architecture, validate it in a proof-of-concept, implement it, document it and hand it over with training for your team.
Our cooperation does not end at handover. We provide long-term service and technical support — preventive maintenance, monitoring, updates and rapid response in case of trouble. We also help customers with capacity planning and the gradual growth of their infrastructure so it keeps pace with their data.
As a value add distributor we are also the back office for a network of reseller partners in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. We offer partners presales consulting, solution design, equipment loans, deployment assistance at the end customer and postsales support. Thanks to direct relationships with vendors and certifications across the entire portfolio, we can support even technically demanding projects.

Primary storage is the heart of every data infrastructure — it determines application performance, service availability and how fast you can grow. We design and deliver all-flash and hybrid disk arrays, scalable NAS systems for file services, and object storage for modern applications and large unstructured datasets.
The choice of technology is always based on a detailed analysis of your data profile: workload types, latency and throughput requirements, growth plans and budget. We work with technologies from Dell Technologies, Infortrend and other vendors, so we are not tied to a single portfolio and can recommend the solution that truly fits.
Delivery includes architecture design including the SAN fabric, data migration from existing systems without downtime, replication and high-availability setup, and administrator training. We size every solution to handle today's peaks as well as the capacity demands five years from now.
Backup is the last line of defence — and in the ransomware era, often the only one. We design comprehensive backup strategies following the 3-2-1-1-0 rule: three copies of data, two different media, one copy off-site, one offline (air gap) and zero errors when verifying recoverability.
We build on the proven Veeam and Commvault platforms combined with hardened repositories for immutable backups that an attacker can neither encrypt nor delete. We protect physical servers, virtualised environments, containers, databases and SaaS applications such as Microsoft 365.
Backups can also be directed off-site — to a data centre in the Czech Republic, so your data never leaves Czech jurisdiction. The key metric is not the backup itself but the speed of recovery. We help you define realistic RPO and RTO values for individual systems, design the corresponding architecture and regularly test recovery scenarios — from a single file to full disaster recovery of an entire site.
Growing data volumes and regulatory requirements call for safe and economical long-term storage. Tape remains the cheapest and most energy-efficient archival medium — modern LTO generations offer tens of terabytes per cartridge, a thirty-year media lifespan and a natural air gap.
We supply Quantum tape libraries, from compact units for smaller archives to enterprise systems with thousands of slots. On top of the hardware we deploy archiving software from Archiware, Nodeum or PoINT, providing automated tiering, indexing, search and integrity checking of stored data.
We ensure the long-term readability, immutability and authenticity of your archives: we organise data with metadata, plan generational media refresh and format migrations. Your archive remains a living, searchable source of information — not a warehouse of forgotten cartridges.
Media production places specific demands on storage: many edit suites working concurrently on the same material, guaranteed throughput for 4K/8K workflows and reliable archiving of finished projects. We understand the world of broadcast and post-production and speak the language of editors as well as IT administrators.
We deliver ELEMENTS shared high-performance storage designed specifically for media workflows — with support for Avid, Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve projects, user management and integrated tools for proxy editing and remote collaboration.
We connect the complete solution to an archive tier: finished projects automatically flow to tape or object storage and remain findable through metadata and previews. Production works on fast storage while the archive grows safely and economically.

We specialise in computing environments for demanding workloads, including HPC and GPU-accelerated solutions for analytics, AI and media processing. We size the infrastructure with performance, power consumption, cooling and future expansion in mind.
Fault-tolerant design is a matter of course: redundant components, replication between sites and recovery scenarios with zero or minimal data loss in the event of a disaster. We then support operations with monitoring and preventive maintenance.
We keep a continuous watch over our customers' IT systems — disk arrays, backup systems, servers and network components are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We know about an emerging problem before it affects the operation of your applications.
Monitoring covers availability, performance, free capacity and hardware health — disk and RAID states, temperatures, fans and power supplies. When something deviates, the system automatically alerts our engineers, who respond according to severity with a remote fix or an on-site visit — always in line with the agreed service level (SLA).
The service includes regular trend evaluation: capacity planning, firmware update recommendations, preventive component replacement and clear reporting. You always know the state of your infrastructure — and that someone is looking after it at night and on weekends too.
